meet lori

Lori joined the Head Start Board in 2016. She is the Area Resource Coordinator for The Department of Children and Families (DCF) where she has worked for 36 years in several capacities. She is very active in the community and serves on various boards and committees. Her passion for child welfare motivates her continued commitment to our community’s children.

A little about me:  

I work for Department of Children and Families and currently I am a Community Board Member representing the agency.

What I love about Head Start is the staff!  They are truly invested in the children and the families.  I have never met a group of more dedicated people in all my years! 

A fun fact about myself is that I have never missed a Fourth of July parade.  My father would bring me every year and I continued the tradition with my children.  The United Way asked me to drive their car in the parade a few years ago and I was in my glory!  I thought the picture went well with the theme!!
