Emma started Head Start in 2017.

She is very bright and a great listener but was pretty shy when entering Head Start and did not like being told she couldn’t do something.

Now in 2020 she is the total embodiment of Head Start! She loves to participate in circle and is always

reminding her peers to listen. She loves taking the younger kids under her wing and calling them her “baby.” Nothing can get Emma down and she is tough as nails!

Abigail started Berkshire County Head Start in 2018.

She was a shy, quiet girl who blossomed into a girl who is friendly, helpful, and smart! She knows all her sounds and is reading at a K1 Level and is even writing words!

Abigail's mom has made a huge difference in her ability to excel in Conte 2! Abigail frequently talks about how much she loves school!
