Karen joined the Board in March 2022. She is an immigration attorney at Central West Justice Center, a non-profit legal services organization. Karen also has experience representing children in the Family and Juvenile Courts. Prior to working in the field of immigration law, Karen worked as the Coordinator of Youth Development at Berkshire United Way. Before moving to the Berkshires, Karen lived in New York City. Her first job after law school was with the Legal Aid Society in Harlem, representing tenants who were fighting evictions. Karen speaks fluent French and is proficient in Spanish.
